George W. Bush's View of the Church
[ send me this paper ]
This 5 page paper provides an analytical view of the issue of George Bush's sometimes contradictory
conservatism regarding affiliations with church leaders. While George W. Bush has asserted his Christian affiliation and has talked openly
about embracing his religious ideals, he has also shied away from affiliations with men like Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson, even though
Falwell has openly expressed support for his campaign. This paper considers the reasons behind Bush's views on affiliation with church
leaders and depicts a cautious Bush in light of his father's experiences with being openly condemned for his affiliations with the Unification
Church. Bibliography lists 4 source.

George W. Bush: His Stance on the Issues
[ send me this paper ]
A 5 page review of George W. Bush's stance on the issues driving the upcoming election. The author

Interpreting the relative positives and negatives of these points, however, is dependent on the political ideologies of the particular person doing the interpreting. Bibliography lists 3 sources.

Governor Schwarzenegger
[ send me this paper ]
4 pages in length. Now that all is said and done, and Californians overwhelmingly ousted Governor Davis for Governor Schwarzenegger, what is in store for this admittedly inexperienced official and his eager constituents? Perhaps that is precisely the key to Arnold's success as the state's savior, inasmuch as political experience is what put California in its current economic pinch. That Arnold looks at the problems from a wholly divergent perspective than those with politically-colored glasses is reason enough to believe he will also approach resolution with just as much diversity. He thinks like a voter, responds like a voter and has a strong camaraderie with the voters; is it any wonder the voters chose him to dig their state out of economic demise? Bibliography lists 2 sources.

Hank Morgan in Twain’s “A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court”: His Goals and Values in Comparison with Those of Thomas Jefferson
[ send me this paper ]
This is a 5 page paper comparing Thomas Jefferson and Hank Morgan’s goals and values. Thomas Jefferson drafted the Declaration of Independence and the bill which established religious freedom in the United States. In addition, he believed in the value of education for all and the separation of the Church from the state. Hank Morgan established similar guidelines in his re-creation of American society in 6th century England in Mark Twain’s work “A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court” published in 1889. In the book, Morgan sets up an education system for all and a freedom of religion which was separate from the education system; ideals consistent with Jefferson’s. Despite their ideals of liberty however, both Jefferson and Morgan also used advanced methods at their disposal to protect their societies.

[ send me this paper ]
12 pages in length. The extent to which minority vote has effected American presidential elections can be viewed from myriad perspectives; from political party to poll influence, the factors that impact the minority vote are certainly worthy of close consideration. Analysts routinely study behavior of minority voting and note that the primarily Democratic voting black population is far more easily read than the Hispanic community, whose voting behavior is significantly less predictable. With the economy and joblessness at the forefront of their collective consideration, it is not surprising the impact minorities have upon presidential elections. Annotated bibliography lists 20 sources.
